Correction and Retraction

International Journal of Economics and Business Management (IJEBUM) takes its responsibility to maintain the integrity and completeness of the scientific record of our content for all readers very seriously. The journal takes the authority of articles after publication very seriously and our policies are based on best practices in the academic publishing community. Changes to articles after they have been published online may only be made in the circumstances outlined below.
An errata is a statement by the authors of the original paper that briefly explains any corrections resulting from errors or omissions. Any effect on the conclusions of the paper must be noted. Corrected articles are not removed from the online journal, but a notice of the errata is provided. Errata are freely available to all readers and are linked to the corrected article.
A retraction is a notice that a paper should not be considered part of the scientific literature. A retraction is issued when there is clear evidence that the findings are unreliable, this may be due to misconduct or dishonesty; when the findings have been previously published elsewhere without proper reference, permission or justification; when the work has been plagiarized; or when there is a report of unethical research. To protect the integrity of the record, retracted articles are not removed from the online journal, but a retraction notice is provided, freely available to all readers, and linked to the retracted article.
A Publisher's Note informs readers that an article has been corrected after publication. It is issued by the Publisher and is used in cases where a typographical or production error (which is the Publisher's fault) affects the integrity of the article's metadata (such as the title, author list or byline) or would significantly affect the reader's ability to understand the article. The original article is removed and replaced with the corrected version. The Publisher's Note is freely available to all readers. Minor errors that do not affect the integrity of the metadata or the reader's ability to understand an article and that do not involve scientific misconduct or omissions will be corrected at the Publisher's discretion.
